How can I retrieve my user login and password?
For current ISAC members, your user login and password to CYTO U are the same user login and password you have for the members-only section of the ISAC Web site.
If you remember your user login to the ISAC Web site but cannot remember your password, you can obtain your password from the ISAC Web site by clicking on the “forgot your password?” link .
If you cannot remember your username, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org for your login information.
How do I view a recorded webinar, course, or tutorial?
1. Log in using your ISAC user name and password.
2. Find the content you want to view from the grey navigation tabs at the top of each page.
3. Click on the content title to expand the description, then click on “Topics & Pricing Information” at the bottom-right. A new page will open.
4. Select the product on the right side of the page by clicking on “Add to Basket”.
5. Follow the instructions to review your basket and submit your order.
6. Go to the “My CYTO U” tab and click on “My Courses” to view your content.
Do I earn continuing education credits for completing CYTO U content?
Yes. Continuing education credit values are noted in each webinar, course, or tutorial description. All CYTO U content qualifies for ASCP BOC Continuing Medical Laboratory Education (CMLE) credit. For more information, visit: https://www.ascp.org/content/board-of-certification
What is the SCYM?
In October 2017 ISAC, the ICCS, and the ASCP BOC launched the SCYM, a new Specialist in Cytometry credential, to replace the previous CCy credential. Anyone who already has the CCy or passed the ICCE exam before June 30, 2017 will be automatically transitioned to the SCYM. All other candidates must meet the new eligibility requirements and apply to take the new SCYM exam as the ICCE has been discontinued.
What are the registration fees for CYTO U?
All CYTO U courses are free to ISAC members and non-member fees vary depending on the type of content and number of course hours. Fees are noted on the individual course description “More info” page. Webinars are provided to the cytometry community free of charge.
Is there a deadline to complete a CYTO U course or webinar?
All courses should be completed within six months of registration.
How long will it take to complete a CYTO U eLearning course?
CYTO U courses were developed in module format so that students can complete a module in roughly 20-30 minutes.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations and refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

How are CYTO U courses developed?
The Education Committee of ISAC identifies topics of interest, and convenes a committee of experts in that area. The experts develop the course material, which is then peer-reviewed and revised, before formatting for electronic delivery.
